I apologize again for not being able to write on my blog for quite a while, but I would like to update you on my most current health challenges.
A few weeks ago my right eye was giving me problems, I started to have blurry vision and could barely read my bible. I also started to have double vision. but only on my right eye. I went to an optometrist (which is an eye doctor) and the Doctor recommended to wear glasses, now I am still waiting to get them.
After that I went to the hospital to get my 3 month MRI before I went to Duke to have my 3 month check up. I was very anxious because like any other cancer survivor we don't want the cancer to come back and those type of check ups are very nerve racking but I trust God, that He has control of everything and my life.
The news I got at Duke was that my tumor has returned and is sitting on my right optic nerve, which means is the nerve that controls the vision.
The good news is that is treatable and is not fast growing like my last brain tumor. I begin treatment the week of the 29th of June.
It will be a rather long Journey but I know with God on my side everything is possible and those six months of Chemotherapy are going to be like three days. This is my faith that God will heal me and I believe he will.
Another challenge that I'm facing is with my Insurance. My insurance will expire on June 30th. Like all other cancer patients we know how expensive the treatment are and that chemotherapy, MRI's , and Follow ups ranges from thousands of thousands of dollars.
But I believe that God is a God of miracles and I also ask you to help me in prayer so miracles can happen in my life.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for healing.
2. Pray for my finances and payments for treatment.
3. Pray for physical strength and Spiritual Strength through this time.
4. Pray for Chemotherapy will kill all cancer cells.
5. Pray for my family in Guatemala and my family in Christ.
6. Pray for my girlfriend Catherine for Spiritual Strength.
