Update #4

What a great God we serve! We are so humbled thankful and beyond amazed by the blessings pouring from the Father yesterday and today.

Jorge's surgery went really, really well. He didn't get into surgery until just after noon. He was only in surgery for about 4 hours. The doctor said they removed all of the visible tumor. We are so very thankful for this surpise from God as we were only expecting 75-80%. God is good!

In recovery his breathing tube was removed and he's been breathing on his own since. Again, another praise that is only creditable to our God. By last night he was attempting communication and somewhat alert.

This morning, this is what our God does...
Bless the Lord oh my soul! We are amazed by His greatness! Less than 24 hours after surgery. God is great!

We will keep everyone updated as far as when Jorge will be able to come home and what is next. For now:

Please pray:
- for continual recovery and strength.
- for ease from pain or discomfort.
- for peace in his heart and mind and encouragement as he recovers.
- for encouragement for his brother, family here and in Guatemala.
- for God to be glorified and magnified here in Richmond, at Duke, and abroad in the different areas that Jorge's story has been heard!

The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad. Psalms 126:3
